Oh, What A Doll!

Miniature Dolls From My Collection - Presented by the Verstraete Miniatures Gallery

In miniature, dolls are a love/hate type of thing. Some miniature rooms and dollhouses benefit from the lack of figures to give a scene that realistic look as if someone just stepped from the room. Dolls, though, can add to the overall beauty of a dollhouse or provide a special dimension to a miniature scene. I like dolls and add them to many, if not all, of my projects. It depends on the scene. Funny, I didn't realize how many dolls I had until I saw them pictured together. (Other regular size dolls can be seen on my doll gallery page.) - Christine Verstraete

Kitty dressed these mini babies. Look at the little Raggedy! 4. Yes, she made this Doc & Nurse - and they have a first aid kit, too! 5. I love this mini Raggedy couple she made, too.

The wizard and companion won a prize in the Minidolllist contest! See other winners on the Fantasy contest page at Dana's MiniatureArt.com.
