Miniatures and Short Mystery Fiction Contest

Awhile ago, I started writing a short mystery story based on one of my miniature dollhouse rooms. Of course, other things got in the way and I still have to go back to finishing the story. Now that I have my own website, I decided, why not see what kinds of stories other people can come up with?

The Contest & Winners

Entrants wrote a short story of up to 800 words based on the photos shown here of an original 1" scale dollhouse room I made called "The Victorian Parlor."

And the Winners Are...

  • 1st – "Baby, Button and Barnswallow" - Margaret B. Davidson
  • 2nd – "One Small Step for Man-One Giant Leap for Mankind" - Marie Angell
  • 3rd/Runner up - "For Crying Out Loud!" – Christopher Gooch
  • 4th/Runner up – "The Victorian Pad" - Steve Allan

Thanks to all for entering and for some great stories! Read the WINNERS! here.
